@quiksilver1014 Viper is a bad choice to choose against FB spammers that have close range game, mainly cause of her low health. Rufus i'd just have to say get half screen and go for the messiah and if they try to shoryuken or tiger uppercut get em with normal or EX snake strike

@ComradeStranger lol no, if they only fb spam then once you get close to them and they cant do shit its a piece of cake but theres alot of good online players that fb spam and once you get close they own you still .....(im a rufus/viper player)

I usually clutch out a Sagat as dan I just jump over their Tiger shots and use my QCB K as a sort of counter

@KanameTousen Those are all fun choices but I do give you credit for playing Gen, I just can't get the hang of him at all. I used to main Dan actually and still own spammers, the invincible frames for Dan always brought a smile to my face.

@KanameTousen Well the comp will always be there to take a cheap ass loss whereas people will either develop strategies for those kinds of players or they simply won't play anymore. I play Fuerte and have found a pretty damn good strat against spammers and it's hilarious when I dizzy a Sagat or any other shoto :)

this is how the japanese play. they play more so off of frame data and timing rather than spectacular power moves all the time. spamming fb is part of their strat. Its just how they play. Or atleast thats what ive been noticing

This is before most of the frame and time data was avabile though it was December of 08(meaning the game had only been out 3 months in arcades)
