Redux is a travesty.Mainly,because it makes willard an unbeliavable character.The guy at the beginning,is at the breaking point.He is first presented as a focused,humorless assassin.But that's completely undermined in redux,when willard gets his crew laid,steals a surfboard,SMOKES OPIUM?LOL,every scene should be excised but clean talking about the guy and his playboy magazine.All the other scenes,not only make willard seem unconvincing,but the film loses tension.Where can i buy the original dvd?

@TheGatorfan93 Lol thats your opinion, but truthfully Redux gave it a whole new depth making it ultimately more intresting, much longer, and more truthful. I think redux is awesome and if you have a problem with it then i dont know what your problem is.

Redux is horrible,the original is more focused and bleak.But most importantly,in the original willard's character was seen as a man ''near the breaking point''.A guy who jokes around one minute stealing kilgore's board,then the next minute is all serious ''if that's how kilgore fought the war''?Ridiculous.
