[ep 6] When I Look At the Sky

I think this is the best FF video I've done yet.

A month long of searching, Aerith and Yuffie conclude that they will never find Zack, not having the slightest clue where he is or have any contact information. Both exhausted and crestfallen at this inevitable situation, they are at a dead end, not knowing what to do. Tifa, having raised her spirits in hopes of finding Zack's whereabouts, has become completely distracted and works tediously in order to keep her mind at ease while waiting. Her two best friends are guilt-ridden and don't know how to break the news to her, as they had seen her in this state before.

The three friends had met right after Tifa and Zack broke up, so unfortunately Aerith and Yuffie were never able to meet him. They both reminisce when they lived together, Yuffie recalled Tifa always excusing herself to go to her room. Though Tifa was oblivious, all along Yuffie and Aerith knew that she had tried to contact Zack, and that he never answered his phone. While Yuffie bitterly remembers Tifa's hurt from trying to reach out to a man no longer there, Aerith reveals that Zack did indeed call back one last time when Tifa wasn't home. He left a message to say goodbye.

After that, Tifa's behavior ceased, and she returned to normal as if Zack had never existed. Even so, Aerith tells how every now and then, a sadness would surface in Tifa's eyes, that she wouldn't ever truly forget Zack or the hurt of losing him.

While Aerith and Yuffie quietly talk in their room, Tifa unknowingly also remembers back to the last time she heard Zack's voice.

He spoke like it was a goodbye between friends. His voice was light and carefree, as if he didn't have a worry in the world. He brought up her old habits and playfully scolded her to be good when he was gone, as if he was merely leaving for a short while. He laughed, but then the reality sunk in for him, realizing he really wouldn't ever see her again, for her own good. What he had meant as simply a call light-heartedly telling her to move on, it became the last message to the only woman he ever loved. He pours out his heart, telling her he was sorry he had to leave, telling her to just pretend he didn't exist, not to worry about him anymore, and that he was alright where he was... but he missed her.

Tifa was never able to reach Zack ever again, as he had promised. She knew he hadn't meant to reveal his heart to her like that, but it was too late, as she knew he was still out there, and that he still loved her as much as she still loved him. But she was also angry at him.

All those broken promises.

And Tifa would cry, because they were forever under the same sky. So close, yet so far.

Okay, for the monologue, it's basically the exact translations. I just tweeked it around to make it sound like he's never coming back. It's actually a message from Kim Dongwan to his fans before he entered into the army for 2 years. I thought it was sweet.
