In Lexi's Memory


It's taking me alot of strength to write this, after a morning of a non stop heart break. Alexia Maria Baldacchino, one of my best ever friends, the best colleague that I ever had by my side, has left us. I know she is in a better place, at least that's what I force myself to believe, though it's hard to let go of such a good friendly memory.

Lexi, you were hardly at the middle of your life, barely at the beginning, two years younger than me... but definetley alot wiser, a heart of gold, a real warrior in life, full of faith and believe, a shoulder that anyone counted on and never been let down.

I know this might sound stupid, but on your Msn... you had written...

... and the friday before the tragedy I did tell you that I do agree with your title... and now... after this loss... I couldn't agree any more...

There's just so much good things to say and mention about you Lexi, i wish the whole world knew the real you, just like I do, and all those that know you... English wise... it's not a good grammar... since 'You' is in the past now... But for me 'You' is always in my past, present, and future. I won't ever find the guts to erase you from my personal stuff, like Msn or my phone... not now, not ever... I know this is stupid... but i left you a message on Msn, and mobile, i know you will never be there, and it won;t change a thing, but i can't help myself. Thanks for being part of my life Lexi, a chapter i will never forget nor close

My deepest sympathy to you, to all her family and to all her friends. Today I received a PPS from my niece in Malta concerning Alexia, and just like this video it was beautifully done. My niece is a young nurse and I think that they were friends. May Alexia rest in peace.
