Didn't Ashley already know she was a sperm bank baby? though the harsh reality is feeling like having your one close family member lie to you your entire can make you feel like you want to implode.

Ash didnt really explode about the sperm baby issue or lesbian issue is because she grew up with a rather bigger issue of discrimination all all her life. Being a plus size girl/woman came with hatred and her mom was apart of that also. So, yeah going thru her own self loathing issues and whatever else was dumped on her concerning weight keeps her from being angry and open about her momz lez choices..

Wow what a vitriolic response to a great scene! Ash was right and so was Doris. Ash had no idea and their relationship was not the best. Ash is justly hurt that her mother didn't trust her love and thought that she would judge her. I think this scene is fantastic

it's not your Mum confessing to u that she got u from a sperm bank and telling u that she's a lezzer. Think about it, either or would send most people for a loop. All in all, I think Ashley took the news rather well. She never once cried over the fact that she's a sperm bank babe, didn't mention it once; which is something I find rather odd...

ashlee may have overdone a bit...but she also just found out that she was a sperm baby...that allows for little anger.
