More of the older groups continue to tour and sell out than do the younger groups. With age comes experience. You're never too old to rock and roll! Thanks for the video, it rocks!

@DaNeilG open G tuning
-
Hi , this is definitely an open G tuning. You can hear the open chord once he's finished tuning and before he starts picking. Same as on come and go blues
-
@DaNeilG One guy says open G. He only tunes two strings...I say open D
-
Definitely my favorite version of the song. I love the bluesy sound over the up tempo version done by the Allman Brothers Band.

Allman Brothers Band = Gods

i allways preferred this version over the abb version.But thats just my thing...

I'm pretty sure it's open G (DGDGBD). I know that's what he used on his studio recording.

I am just now reading your comment. I shot the video and I think Gregg was nervous. He had been outside with CHANK away from the other musicians all night. It was just a way to stall for a few minutes. I didn't cut that part off as because I didn't want to. Remember Gregg was totally sober and had no helpers to calm him.
