This stop motion animation is a first effort composed of about 850 stills shot during a single (ragged) overnight period; without the titles and other frills, it's total duration is short of a single minute. The video has been (unaccountably) accepted as an official selection for the 17th annual Berkeley Video & Film Festival, presented by the East Bay Media Center, scheduled for showing in Fall, 2008 at the Landmark California Theatre on Kittredge Street in Berkeley. East Bay Media Center in downtown Berkeley, California was established in 1980 as a Non-profit Corporation. By providing technical and educational media resources
to communities in the East Bay, EBMC* has gained popularity as a Media advocate for community involvement, especially for marginalized youth, ethnic and cultural minorities, and the disabled community. To provide a public venue for the works of unknown video artists and producers, EBMC created Berkeley Video & Film Festival in 1991. The festival boasts a growing audience, national attention, and international entries, having become Northern California's largest independent video and film festival. Deadline for 2008 submissions is May 30th.

I'm pretty sure that the fifth guy in the closing line-up is the guilty party ... but maybe I better watch it again.

Magnificent. An authentic depiction of the human condition, portrayed most concisely. Exquisite.

This is utterly and outrageously immoral, and a libelous attack on our city. DON'T play it! Organize a boycott. Also, technically, it sucks -- these creeps don't know JakSchidt about production values and -- well, I could go on, but I'm too furious ... I'd rate it 5 turds.
