Oh, did you forget, you can make housing using alternative simpler construction methods, as well as alternative use of materials?

I also forgot to mention that plants can purify water as well. So we can use natural ways of maintaining the planet.

You're quite misinformed about how money gets in the way of progress and technology. Go find me statistics-- actually, don't even bother. Evidence is everywhere, superstores waste tonnes of food. That tonnes of food can feed the world.

  • @malsifood

Also, do some research, it turns out that you don't need land to grow food. You can have buildings going up vertically and making massive farm lands.

You can grow meat as well.

You don't need land to grow food either, you can use hydroponic farming.

In the near future, there's a high chance that you can fabricate food through using machines as well.

We can create an abundance by using science and technology.

  • @malsifood

First of all. You're using "Let's assume", assuming does not work unless you provide evidence. Population does not double by having 2 children. It would keep it at the exact population. Having 0-1 children will depopulate the world, having more than 2, will overpopulate the world.

Also, at this current time, we can feed everyone around the world. There are no statistics saying otherwise.

Also the Venus Project questions the carrying capacity of the planet.

  • @H4134

    2. Let's assume that the following 40 years, the world's population doubles again (why shouldn't it?)

Are you going to double productivity again?

Where do you get the land to grow all that food?

Where do you get the ocean to fish double amount of fish?

Let's assume that the worlds population doubles again the following 40 years?

Will you be able to feed all of them by adding plantations on the moon?

How come your fantastic technology does not feed all humans today?

  • @H4134

    1. Let's assume that the world has 8Bi People.

Look at what has happened: Ocean fished almost empty, Rainforests chopped down up to 90%.

50% of all humans live in poverty!

Let's assume that tomorrow the productivity doubles, so then all people of today can live without starving.

Let's assume that the world's population doubles the next 40 Years (Highly probable)

Let's also assume everybody gets vegetarian. Result everybody can be fed!

    (to be continnued)

  • @malsifood

Science is a Latin word for; knowledge

So yes, you need knowledge to tell you what is going wrong with the world.

You apply technology into the system to increase the efficiency of the system to the highest potential. So therefore, both science and technology renders politics outdated.

Nothing is absurd, focus on the goal and not the obstacles.

(Oh by the way, there are no statistics telling us that we can't feed the world.)

  • @niginit

Intelligent people do not talk to idiots! Don't they!

  • @malsifood

    okay, you're an idiot.

    /conversation

You've failed to prove yourself a worthy person to debate. Take a step back, stop watching the "news", get a grip, gain perspective, think for yourself and then MAYBE you might be a LITTLE less confused.

For now, you're just simply naive, ignorant and disgustingly confused.

  • @niginit

You don't need any scientist to tell what is going wrong with this world! And you cannot resolve the problems we face in the future with science!

The claim of the agriculture industry, that we can solve the problem of feeding all humans in the future by genetic altered plants is absolutly absurd!

You cannot feed 10 times more humans on this planet!

You don't need futuristically desinged housing to survive!

You need a clear mind and reasoning! Ideologies lead to nothing!

  • @malsifood

Yes, it would make a difference. A big difference. You haven't come up with ONE argument to the contrary.

I never said Obama was the solution. The two party system is more of a one party system. In fact, it's more of a theology.

The solution, as always, is science, more science and power to scientists.

Science is the only solution to any problem we face. Only uneducated fools think otherwise.

It just so happens that science tells us that we waste relentlessly. That's the problem
