@FijneWIET ...a text adventure...Is just text, it could just be a book. Im not saying graphics make a game, but for people to say they are nothing is stupid. If I were to shut off your tv while youre playing a new PS3/360 game (getting rid of the graphics)How would you play it.Also, text is a form of graphics,also a text adventure is not only shallow in the graphics department,but gameplay aswell,its as shallow as "move left" and "use" I dont see how that genre really matters in this situation,

@TypingBlank no gaphics no game?? You never played a text adventure? Graphics are eye candy, gameplay makes or breaks a game (I'm from the C64 era)

In general.. all the focus on gaphics is BS, The poiint-and-click interface killed the adventure-genre.

@djvilandas COD does not have good graphics. Im not saying graphics make a game, but presentation definitely does play a big part.

@sugargliderpal202 I doubt you would play COD or any FPS shooters if they would look like games from Ps1 on a ps3 system.

@sugargliderpal202 Well, all of the great graphics games that I play are still great gameplay wise, so if the gameplay WAS shit, the game would be too. The only game I know that has great graphics but sucks ass is Lair, which I guess was amazing looking when it came out :P

@sugargliderpal202 Graphics are what the game IS. If there were no graphics, there would be no game. Sure, all games dont have to look like Crysis/Killzone 3, but when games are better looking, they are more pleasant to watch. When graphics are really good, I get immpressed by how good they made certain things look, like "wow, tech has come this far!". If a game looks bad like Damnation or Haze, its not a pleasant experience, the whole time youre playing something that you find ugly.
