300 dead in China as 6.9 earthquake hits Qinghai province

A powerful earthquake has rocked China's western province of Qinghai killing at least 300 people. State media claims around 8,000 have been injured. The 6.9-magnitude quake has toppled many houses, while roads have been damaged or blocked by landslides.

@yeunghong2008 Yeah, let the earthquakes hit the rich business areas and collapse the economy along with the environment. Condolences to the victims but it would be many times worse if it hit Beijing. More people would die and it would leave a huge impact on the whole country. Not everyone living in Beijing and Shanghai is a rich businessman.
