I don't think this is the most violent part of bioshock. the part where Ryan gets beat to death with the golf club is up there. Also the doctor is pretty brutal when he sees you through the glass as hes "operating" on a girl.

Well, the blood and gore doesn't really matter in this case. The sheer duration of this is what made it so violent. A guy got thrown into a wall, got drilled by a "super-drill", and then smashed through a window. THERE.
