@SignOfTheDollar1 I know for sure that we suffered under the fear of being attacked by the Varmit,but I could never get a check for it! If it happen today I could! Can't really remember who threw the log...If it was the creature then I understand him needing a doublewide..he had some big ass feet.

I heard that Bigfoot "hurt his back" when he threw the log at the boys in the film. He now lives in a double wide in Jeffrey and is drawing a Comp Check.
I suppose it is possible that some of the boys suffered psychological damage and are now getting Crazy Checks.

And it was not "A stupid fake" I was pretty damn good for 70's technology and a bunch of kids! The person filming this was about 7 or 8 years old. Tim and I were the oldest ones there. I just glad this still around in 2009.Fun times in Boone County. The Varmit is what old man Ball called this thing that only came out at night
