Jim Allan 2009 Hall Of Fame Inductee

Jim is the Accessibility Coordinator and Webmaster with the Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired living in Austin, Texas. Jim has been a part of the SCI-VIS (Space Camp for the Interested Visually Impaired Students) program for almost 20 years. He helps coordinate the attendance of over 200 blind and visually impaired students to Space Camp each September. Jim maintains the SCI-VIS website and serves as the technology expert for the SCI-VIS program. Jim provided technology assistance to Space Camp's software provider to enable the Space Camp mission software to be used by blind and visually impaired students. Jim is a member of numerous national organizations and has been recognized at the state and national level for his achievements with the visually impaired community.
