The 12 Duetz of Christmas 2011 - Day #11 (featuring Sarah Funk)

A sequel to the wildly successful "12 Guitarz of Christmas 2010", this year I took my cameras and microphones around Seattle and recorded 12 duets with some of the wonderful musicians that I am privileged to be able to perform and jam with.

Sarah is my link to the folk music world here in Seattle, although I first met her when she filled in as a singer with the Microsoft Big Band. During the day she's a research scientist at the Univ. of Washington, and on the weekends plays with every ethnic folk ensemble imaginable. I love the setting here in front of her fireplace (unfortunately we couldn't get the view of Puget Sound from her front window) and the opportunity to dig out my banjo again.
