See, the thing is, which is 'easier' is arbitrary. The fact of the matter is Sagat, although patently overpowered, does have some weakness - less potent up close, big combo target etc. But Ryu is the quintessential training wheels character - no weakness, all strengths, Wii-easy to use.

And I know Ryu is the mascot of the game. But his high tier-ness doesn't suit his role. At least with Sagat he LOOKS powerful. And that's not even touching on the Karate VS Muay Thai aspect of things...

Sagat's Ex Tiger Uppercut into Ultra does exactly the same damage (559 from full health) as Ryu's SPS>DP>FADC>Ultra and that's much, much easier. You don't even need to FADC.

Also, I am aware 23 isn't old, and you may have a few years on me, I just included that to make sure you realise I'm not part of this "Halo generation" you're referring to; I don't even like Halo...

Relative to its effectiveness, its damage dealing potential and its learning curve, I'd put MONEY on there not being any combo of a similar facile yet powerful nature before in any notable fight-game... Mr Of Legal Drinking Age. <_<

*Moves of SNK-type boss characters don't count.

So you're saying that there isn't a combo, in *any* fighting game *ever* that's easier to do than FDCing into an Ultra..? Clearly your lack of fighting game knowledge is all I need to know you're just full of hot air.

Also, Halo Generation scrubs? I'm 23 and have played Street Fighter since SF2T.
