Walking around No 3 Campus.

No. 3 Middle School in YiLi district in Xinjiang. I taught briefly at this school before being kicked out by the Public Security Bureau (PSB) for not having a work visa. The school, like the town Chabucha'er, was made up of about 50% ethnic Han Chinese, and 50% ethnic Kazakh/Uyghur Chinese. It was a very interesting place.

Being an educator, there are various types of students: the really bright ones who can learn easily by themselves, the middle students who needs to study quite a bit to retain and understand the material and the really weak students who can't retain any information because they have the misconception already that science is hard. Many student, being a professional educator, require constant repetition and slowed instructions to understand various concepts in science. If it was that cut and dry, why are students going to YouTube to watch a lesson. Shouldn't they have heard it the first time around. You would have understood that if you weren't so self-centered.
