They could have made it big if they were fake and were like everybody wanted them to be, but they, especially Craig, did what they felt and didn't care about what people want them to be, so that's why they aren't commercial and it's better that way...

@cdmaelstrom I agree , not too mad about the white stripes but yeah the vines had what it took to be massive
Like they had songs that you can just go crazy to and then easy listening songs and slow songs.
Wish they had of been huge :(

The Vines, probably one of the greatest rock bands of the 2000s. We had a few good bands like The Hives, The music...The strokes and The White Stripes, but The Vines had greater potential IMO

I wish that the Vines had done what people speculated, and saved the world of rock'n'roll. Some things just weren't meant to happen though, I suppose.
