  • It will, eventually, end up like the Soviet Union. Socialism always fails.

I just hope the Americans can wake up and learn that copying Europe is a bad idea.

  • The EU, is going to end in a disaster.

  • Outstanding ! ..... Plus Mr. Hannan closes with a 'shout-out'/mention of Massachusetts ... where he should probably do a two-manTeam debate at Harvard sometime. Mr. Hannan and the right teammate (maybe Peter Hitchens?) could re-ignite interest in tournament/competitive debate in America.

  • If we followed the US Constitution, "equal protection" would mean something. But the unelected fourth branch of government -- the immense, unaccountable federal bureaucracies -- like the EPA, doesn't give a damn what you, congress, nor I think -- what's fair -- or whether the Constitution authorizes its existence. Which is something to think about long and hard in 2012. It's all about money. You want the EPA deciding where America's money goes? EPA fees/fines are taxation without representation.

  • YEYY he said "No taxation without representation" Now I got a clip 4 my friends report

  • @flyhead2

Whether you agree with Milton Friedman or not, he was one of the most influential economists of the 20th century. People who study Milton Friedman's theories do not need to c** in their hands. Believe me, those Wall Steet tycoons are, indeed, getting laid. And they have never ridden the short bus.

I believe you must have overheard a conversation about Milton Berle on public transit.

  • @flyhead2 I don't believe he called Friedman an icon. He just upholds his economic thought, which were very much correct.

  • So i just listen to big words for a minute

  • Holding up Friedman as an icon is like sitting on the bus with cum in your hair, but anyone sticking it to the EU can't be all bad.

  • Holy shit, dude. You have 22 thumbs down... I've never seen that many.

  • why do so few eu office holders show up for work? it's a ghost town there in thier chamber. is there some incentive?
