The engine is perkins diesel inline 6. I got one turbo'd up to 145 horse

How do your brakes work? I have an 1100 and the brakes lock up every time i touch them. Ive been told that they are supposed to lock up, but if you were driving as fast as you were, and on pavement, that seems extremely dangerous. What do you think? Does yours lock up?

Its a 6 cylinder diesel perkins engine ( Type A6 354) with 95 hp
