@MrCaptainwonderpants I have seen the movie. You obviously have not. It is amazingly funny and works on many different levels. So the guy is a fat version of "Ed Gein" so what...who, under the age of 50, would know what he looks like anyway. By the way, the movie is critically acclaimed...the reviewers actually took the time and watched the movie (not just the trailer) and then judged it...please do the same.

This is a complete mockery of the real case. The real Ed Gein was a tormented, spychotic man with extreme mother issues who lived the happiest years of his life after his capture in mental hospitals.

I'm all for black and shock humour, but this is just inaccurate. Ed Gein was a slight man, with an effeminate manner. You have so many chances to make this amazingly funny, a throw back to Rocky Horror, with Sweet Transvestite references? After all, Gein made masks out of women's faces because he wanted to be a woman. I understand you wanted a new spin, the thing is, by making fun of Ed in this manner you are normalising him which takes AWAY from the story, it doesn't add to it.

Im proud to say i was at the first showing of the world premiere of this movie last January, i really liked it, they did a very good job. Im still waiting for it to come out on dvd so i can check it out again, the songs in it are catchy!
