Excellent review man you pretty much hit every point on the head of whats wrong with FFXIII. Its just a real shame honestly that Square-Enix would even do what they did with this game (something I think Sakaguci would of never let happen if he was still there). You can't just take what made every FF before XIII out of the game and except veterans of the series to like the game. FF6 & 7 are still the standards for the series in my opinion they haven't been beat yet...

@hec2006 I agree, spoken like a true veteran. Nomura's in charge of Versus XIII so that's really our last hope for something that might resemble an FF of the past. Meanwhile, Square just unveiled Final Fantasy XIII-2!!

Great video i absolutly agree with majority of your review personally 8 is my favourite i thought 10 was good 12 was ok 9 i couldent finish it just couldent get into it. 7 well we all know about 7 will be one of the greatest as you pointed it out it set the standard so high it will probably never be beaten.

@mauricio3lias Spoken like a true FF fan, and I understand about IX, truth is, everyone has their own take on the series with their own personal favourite titles. The thing that sets XIII apart is that it's genuinely quite bad no matter how you look at it... And now they're making XIII-2.

Dude, the last REAL FF game was 9. FF10 is okay it had good music and of course the badass s.o.b Auron, but the whole linear feel 10 had ( like 13) sucked. I mean what I really miss is being able to walk on a world map,go to towns, and of course FLY YOUR OWN AIRSHIP!! What happened to the airship? Enix merger ruined the series, and I hope they don't remake FF7, cause if they do their gonna fuck it up by fitting that faggot Genesis into the story.

Lmao what you said about FF12! I've been trying to tell people that shit for years! I played that garbage for like 30 minutes when it came out and I knew it was a piece of dog shit! If you're gonna make a single player MMO like FF12, at least have an option for a player 2 to press start or something.

I have to disagree with you. I agree that Square Enix didn't make an awesome game like 7 and 10. But you can't expect them to do it every time can you? I liked Final Fantasy 13. I think people who cry like babys over it being bad are just immature. There was alot of things final fantasy 13 had as flaws and i mean alot but I just brushed them aside and played the game. Instead of looking at all the negatives about the game try looking towards the positive things. Some people just need to grow up.
