MMA is bounded by rules & regulations, space restriction (cage), gloves ....so it can only be classfied as "SPORT".
One time someone ask Bruce Lee whether he would fight Ali or not (Ali was the champion at that time). He said if no rules & regulations, no gloves, no boxing rings, strictly fighting.. then ANYTIME!!
Wong Shun Leung is also the guy who teach Bruce most of his Wing chun and setup some indoor fights for Bruce.
The fights that Wong Shun Leung setup for Bruce open his mind, in one fight Bruce almost got defeated, Wong was beside him and said don't mind about your style. After he said that, Bruce start using only the most practical moves from Wing Chun, he won the fight.
From then on he learned to only use the most practical moves, and took away the moves that only meant to "looks pretty".
Part 1. Bruce DID taught Wing Chun in US, his start teaching his style of Wing Chun at 1959. He didnt come up with JDK until 1967
Part 2. YIP MAN DIES BEFORE BRUCE.
Also, Yip man's name was already popular because of his other student Wong Shun Leung, who challenged and won over 100 fights against people who study other style of Kung Fu. He got the name "The King of Talking Hands" because of that.
Das ist eine sehr interessante Serie an Dokumentation. Danke fürs reinstellen, denn das gibt auch Auslands-Chinesen die Gelegenheit & Zugang, mehr über die Wurzeln bestimmte Kampfkünste zu verstehen.
he definitely looked into many martial arts before founding Jeet Kune do. He studied and learned wing chun gung fu under grandmaster yip man for 5 years from when he was 13-18. He had the ability to learn tai chi chuan from his sifu, Yip Man, and I believe he did but he later went on to say that it was a style for the elderly and would practice it when he came of age. His primary styles were Wing Chun and Jeet Kune Do

Bruce lee is not the founder of any type of martial art.
Jeet Kune do , is just a name given by Bruce Lee.
MMA is an Art close to the concept of Jeet kune do , but "close to" is not equal to the same thing.
