MotionBuilder Tutorial (How to Import Multiple free .bvh Mocap data found on the web and apply them to a MotionBuilder Control Rig to add the ability to edit and keyframe on top of the mocap.

  • Thanks so much for your Question! To get to the Character Definition page all you need to do is go to the Navigater window and under Characters you left click the name of the root of the character you imported and and the definition tab should come up. Hope that helps!

  • Hmm. I previously saw a tutorial where a BVH file was characterized by simply dragging and dropping one of the characters ie Max bones onto one of the BVH bones. was this done this way because of the multiple files?

  • how do you get the character definition page.? each time I try to drag character option into the view port it doesnt do anything.
