the confusion started not because of the similarity in the voices, but because john mayer uploaded this song on myspace as a "prize" in a sort of contest.. people saw it there, and thought it was mayer's.. but as we all know now, it's not..

ok so Idk how poeple get this song confused with john mayer, their voices are nothing alike!!! Just cause mayer posted it on his page does not mean he wrote the song! come on people. ALSO- the verse to this song is ALMOST THE EXACT SAME melody to Jimmy Eat World's song "The Middle" only difference is that this song is slowed down. Not saying that is a bad thing, lots of songs sound like other songs, just pointing it out. All in all good song and artist though.
