Performed by Chris Miller-accordion. This is not a typical Cajun song. This is a Marc Savoy composition called "Cajun Reel." I think he was inspired by some Canadian players and decided to do something more in the style of a reel. This is played on a "D" Cajun accordion. The first section is in D and the the middle section is in G.

  • Reels were once played alot in Cajun Music also contradances, Muzarka, one-steps, and jigs. That was pre-accordion. Reels are still taught for cajun fiddle i'm learnin one right now actually Reel de Nezpique
