My experiance says: I drive RHD car for 7 years. 3 times I've been in road incident each time there were no my fault. And each time LHD driver was guilty! No metter what wheel You drive (RHD or LHD) main thing is who behind this wheel.
PS in Russia RHD drivers prefer to use special Mirrors system «Krugozor» which helps to see left line before overtaking a truck, it shows all information about road situation from left side as if you sit at left car chair. Very easy to use and very helpful.

And there is a Police road statistic which says that far eastern regions (mostly RHD cars) has road incidents not much then western regions (where mostly LHD cars). For example, statistic says that in 2008 year in Samara city (same population to Vladivostock city, same q-ty of cars but LHD) car incidents happen more times, and more dangerous then in Vladivostock city (RHD city) !
It means, that there is no proves that RHD is realy more dangerous then LHD.

My name is Alex, I live in Russia.
In fact, there are about 2,000,000 RHD cars regitered in Russia (Russia is LHD country).
Most of RHD cars are in far eastern parts of Russia, because this part is close to Japan. For example, Vladivostok city has population about 600,000 people, and 95% of vehicles are RHD: including Ambulance, Police cars, Road services and e.t.c. RHD cars came to Russia in 1990-th. And till present days are here in use.
