For the postlude on July 25, 2010, Patrick Alston improvises on this familiar hymn tume on the Rodgers organ at Sligo SDA Church in Takoma Park, Maryland. video by Heather Griffin
Stunning, just stunning! It makes my heart swell to know that there are so many wonderful and brilliant organists who happen to be brothers. I just wish I had you brothers to look up to when I started playing the organ 44 years ago as the numbers then were far and few. Thankfully those numbers are growing quickly with brilliant organists like Mr. Alston. It's also nice that it sounds like everyone stays for the postludes judging by the thunderous applause. Thanks for posting, it was wonderful!!!
I LIKE THIS MAN SOUND GREAT HE IS GOING PLAY IN MY FUNERAL SOME DAY. GOD BLESS HIM.
