Ahead of the world-wide celebrations marking the 50th Anniversary of the novel 'Things Fall Apart', Africa-Related's Oyiza Adaba sat down with renowned and celebrated author Chinua Achebe at his home upstate New York. Professor Achebe talked openly on many of issues including the characters he created his highly acclaimed book, his personal successes and struggles, and his decision not to accept Nigeria's national honor.

  • it's because he doesnt suck up to the west like Soyinka with his Hybrid Greek-Worshipping plays. Ngugi and Chinweizu are extraordinary writers whose creative genius young Afrikans the world over need to become more in touch with.
