  • nice work. this video has sold me on the dvx100 - but I think I'm going with the 100A. would you please list your settings for this shoot when you have time? what features on the camera did you use? very nice color! great texture! looks like film!

  • @snapsoidpablo1 Yeah, the 100A has a better zoom ring I think. Personally I would go with the 100B, because it has auto-focus in 24p mode, and I dont think the 100A does (the 100E certainly doesnt). 80% of the colour look here comes from post - on colour correction, I warmed up the mids and made the lows quite cold and bluey. I added some film grain too, and perhaps a bit of sepia. I'm afraid I cant remember the exact setting on the camera, but they were probably pretty balanced. Thanks.

  • where do you live. those bugs look ferocious. prehistoric giant monster bugs. the video quality and your filming is great. I am inspired to try and get more out of my dvx100.

  • @marQuemusic I live near London. The first bug is about an inch long, and the black bug is about inches long. They are constantly flying into windows which is gross but funny. Yeah the quality was pretty good - there was plenty of light which helped.

  • Nice. I just got a dvx a month ago and shot a bunch of music videos. great job.

help that bug out! be nice.

  • @marQuemusic Cool, thanks. I gave the bugs a helping hand in the end.

  • @Willferox Thank you, Willferox! I saw your other work and I'm a fan. If you didn't formally study film, then I think you're a natural cinematographer. Your stuff is art. I'll keep checking back to see new pieces when you make them available...
