Took me a good while to get my head or should i say hands around this, gets kinda complicated in the middle bits, but i think i did a good job :D

Big HUGE thanks to HughSung : http://www.youtube.com/user/hughsung
for helping me change my finger arrangements for the middle bits, i'd usually need an ice pack after playing this but after watching his clair de lune from scratch tutorial, i can now hit the notes more easily and with speed, thanks again!

  • Very nice. What type of DP are you using?

  • @CYisThelonius Yamaha P-140 :D they dont make them anymore tho :( they make the newer model i think, yamaha p155, defineatly recomment either this or the roland X8.. Roland X8 for sound but my yamaha for the touch and dynamics!! and thanks btw

  • that was amazing, how did you learn the rest of the song after hugh sung's videos ran out? any tips ^^?

  • @rayneval thanks man ! greatly appreciated! well em i was kinda familiar with the song for a good while and it was just Hugh Sungs different fingering during measures 41-43 that really helped give me the confidence to record a vid for it!

oh a great tip is download synthesia and a claire de lune midi and learn from that, it really helps

  • really well done!! love it!

  • Wow, perfect man... beautiful.

  • Best performance of this on youtube by a user in my opinion. The nobs that try and offer advice on tempo & dynamics probably all wear well ironed trousers.

Big love from the Cattled Merchants.

  • keep the tempo consistent, don't get too loud - start off quiet please, and go on being quiet. The piece is meant to be a relaxing piece, and it's supposed to be calm and gentle. Only begin to crescendo at 1:11, and then go quiet, then chrechendo a bit, then go quiet, go quiet, .... etc.

    Main points - TEMPO, DYNAMICS

hope this helps your piece to sound better. it sounds good though

  • too fast
