I just left Yunan province today and it's amazing how (I guess compared to a couple decades ago??) ethnic dance and clothing have been allowed to resurge into modern chinese culture.
On the flight out we were on the same plane with some Yunan (not sure which ethnic group) dancers (not in costume).... never seen so many ripped guys and pretty, fit ladies in one place in China, lol...

My wife & I are unsure. A regional dialect or perhaps mixed dialect & Mandarin. Perhaps another viewer has the answer?

The temple is where the old Emperors would go to pray for a good harvest. It's a site with a lot of history. Some people want to stand on it to say they were there, others because they think it will bring them good luck. Most people who go want a photo on that spot.
