@Swipe650 I don't think so. If something really bad happened, the wind would be blowing the radiation away from my house. But I don't have to ride far to start seeing the cooling towers.

@maricopaapt14 Hi Mr C. Yeah I've seen those fields of solar panels on TV. I think this stuff is the way things are going. Luckily the nearest coal powered station is 25 miles from here. I pass it on my way to work sometimes and it's not the prettiest of things

I was out riding among some of the lovely West Virginia mountains a couple weeks ago, and came across a bunch of the really massive wind mills, seemingly in the middle of nowhere. Quite an eyesore, but less so than an open pit coal mine, I guess. Anyway, I'm glad they're not in my back yard!

@dprider02 Planning rules are really strict over here and I really can't see how it managed to get through. Must have been some kind of back hander going on somewhere.
