The bookis outdated in my opinion. The effects in it are now too well known and better methods have been invented since 1968. A lot of magicians blindly follow the "bible of mentalism" bandwagon, even some I know who have yet to read it. Use this book for inspiration and to find ideas on how to update effects, but do not buy this thinking it's the last word in mentalism. It's not. Fundamentalism by Bob Cassidy is far better and up to date. Or you can try 39 Steps to Mentalism.
