This piece is from Gordon Jacob's "William Byrd Suite" Movement 1.

This footage was taken from a concert in 1993 of Dr. Tom Lee's group playing in Schoenberg Hall at UCLA.

That isn't Dr. Lee conducting. It is a guest conductor and I acn't remember his name.

I am playing first tuba in this group.

  • I used to play in a military band when I was 10 or 11 something like that but we are talking 1960's now. Can't really remember the repertoire now :(
