Another jam with a CZ-101 lead over top of a Pro-1 sequence. The CZ sound features a ring-mod patch.

  • u r awesome!

  • Didn't know the story. Thanx for telling, man! Actually I admit I've been tending to think Casio keyboards were rubbish for the last 15 years, but now I finally know what happened with them. I was too young, back then, to understand this Casio/Yamaha thing, and by the time I started playing everybody would recommend the DX7-style synthesizers.

  • White available! LOL

Did you customize this finish by yourself? It sure looks more metal-esque!

    Excellent playing btw.

  • This is so great! I've been doing this kind of thing with a KX5 remote controller, a CZ-101 and a Korg Pandora PX2, but without your skillz :)

  • Dude, you shredded the hell outta that. Use to rock the Roland running through a guitar DSP SFX rack with distortion, guitar on keys is addictive. Amazing vid.

  • Casio was making really cool keyboards in the 80's, the whole CZ series, FZ-1, VZ-1, and of course the AZ-1. But just like with Atari, people dissed Casio as a toy manufacturer and the revenus from pro market were too low for Casio, so they had to abandon pro keyboards. Too bad. The VZ-1 was probably more powerful than the DX7, but the DX7 had Yamaha logo on it, and it sold for $2000, whereas a brand new VZ-1 was $420 at Sam Ash. Anyway, what's with the paint job? I prefer the white CASIO

  • I love this video more than I love my hands.

  • Dude, I have a CZ-101, how in the world did you get it to do that?

  • Man, how the hell you get this sound from a CZ101? I have a CZ1000. Please, guive me a clue!...

  • awesome :D I'd really love to get that controller :P and also play that well :D
