  • wow! that's cool.

  • Thank you! I really need to work on something new.

  • TOO BLOODY SHORT!

  • Definitely, I was still pretty new to FumeFX back then and my computer at the time was slow! I'm hoping to have a new (longer) video up in the near future.

  • Just wondering, about how long did that take to render?

  • I remember it taking about an hour for each pass. The Global Illumination and the standard scene itself. So about 2 hours or so. At the time my computer was pretty slow.

  • @stepxunit fumefx is CPU render and ram, ur should take less than 20 minutes simulating.

  • @quangluu96 I have an I7 2600 / 8GB / 2x N560 GTX ti-hawk ... so im hoping it doesnt take that long :( im using fumeFX ATM :P

  • @ryonie47 so todays' computer would take maybe 30 minutes since the video is real short less than 100 frames ( or the default for 3ds max)

  • I think the fume disappears a bit to fast. But anyway, very realistic!

  • perfect... just need to make the smoke last longer, then it would be the real thing

  • how long did it take you to learn how to do just that?

  • all the best are.

  • niiiceeee
