That would be sooo cool if you could buy a pulse jet powered model off the shelf. I some how doubt it will be available anytime soon as well. Pulse jets seem a little too finicky from what I've seen I could be wrong though I'm certainly not an expert.

awesome, i think i might build one!!!

That video needs to have the word "unboxing" somewhere in the title or the sidebar text. This is what this was, after all, and you want the people looking for such videos to find 'em, I presume.
Aside from that, keep up the good work, your adventures are fascinating.

You're going to be done next weekend??? This would take me a year!

next weekend would be real soon! I wonder if the construction of the plane needs reinforcement, to cope with the power of the pulse engine.

Yes, I have my reservations as to the potential for flutter. Most of The World Models ARFs suffer from bad flutter on elevator or ailerons if you go too fast. With a pulsejet on top, you'll never hear the flutter so it could be a short (but interesting) flight with a 10lbs-thrust engine :-)

Too bad you dont shoot this things in HD.

When I can afford an HD camera I'll make the switch but in the meantime my 10 year-old Panasonic MiniDV will just have to do I'm afraid.

Hi mate, do you ever use the "proper" jet engines?

With a "proper" jet engine (turbine) costing around 10 times as much as a pulsejet, I'll stick with pulsejets :-)
