I offer some food for thought, maybe the greatest expression of life is not the pursuit of one's interests but the pursuit of a great good for everyone. Government as an institution is a monolith of institutional power that can make anyone feel powerless. However, it is still an ideal worthwhile fighting for and one that can help millions of people live a dignified life.
