I can see Maryland from my house in Pennsylvania. I must be an expert on Maryland.
What a fucking joke. If the old man and the stupid bitch get elected, I'm seriously moving to Canada. I can't bear to see a country I once loved go (even farther) down the tubes like this.

I really can't believe this. All i can think about are the men and women who have shed their blood and given their lives for this country. What would they say if they saw this interview. How would they feel about this person who knows nothing of this country? I have a lot of strong feelings about this but most of all, i feel an overwhelming sadness.

I have just as much outer-space policy experience as Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and any other astrounauts past or present. Why? cause I can see the moon from my house!!!!! xD

At its narrowest between Dezhnev and Prince-of-Wales capes, the Behring straight is 82km wide. An Alaskan would need exceptional eyesight and weather conditions to see Chukotka (750,000 square km, pop. 53,000, 9h00 jet-lag from Moscow). Unless one is satisfied, from Little Diomede island, to contemplate uninhabited Big Diomede island 3km away. And this makes Mrs Palin a specialist of Russia? Excuse my French, but I am much closer to my anus, yet I don't claim to be a proctologist.
My favorite part is where she implies that at some point in the past, Russia has invaded Alaska.

Is this a joke?

You'd be forgiven to mistake this for a Saturday Night Live skit, but unfortunately (and frighteningly), this was the CBS Evening News!
