PHILADELPHIA - Philadelphia police say a struggle between a naked man and a cop in Olney ended with the officer shooting the suspect to death.
Police say Kenyado Newsuan attacked the officer on the 5800 block of Mascher Street at 6 a.m. Sunday.
They say even an electric stun gun was used but it couldn't take him down.
So, when he grabbed for the cop's gun, police say the officer was forced to fire.
The man's family admits he was on drugs at the time, but they think police went too far. Now, they want justice.
Police say the officer was taken to the hospital for cuts and bruises, has been placed on administrative duty and will be off the streets until the investigation is complete. That could take weeks or even months.
FOX 29's Sara Madonna has more details in this video report - 23 April 2012.
