Switched on Bach - Wachet auf

A small demo i made to show the sounds of the ancient and under-rated Korg M-500 SP. All sound are made with that synt using multi track recording since the synth only can produce one sound at the time.
The piece is an excerpt from: Wachet auf, ruft uns die Stimme, BWV 645 by Johann Sebastian Bach

@28jsg7 I didn't write it. Johann Sebastian Bach did. I just recorded it. I used some old synthesizers and a multitrack recording device.

The visuals were made by Winamp and milkdrop visualization plug in.

The music is cool but watching the video is like getting stabbed in the eye. Why not just use a still of the album art or a picture of Carlos?

Might get less negative comments if you put (1968) at the end of the title. Most negative comments probably dont know it was the first use of synths in its infancy. I too would say its bad if i didnt know the year, but i do know the year, so actually its good and interesting.

As a synthpop realization of Bach's work, I thought this was very good and fun. A lot of "purists" here don't seem able to accept it, though :(

Drummelskrud. I was about to click like because I liked the tones you were using, but the blatant wrong notes at 13s and again at 22s has me now not even listening to the rest of the song... c'mon man... not a hard song to get right.

The video is quite good. Your realization of Wachet Auf, is about the worst I've heard and certainly doesn't merit comparison to w Carlos's.
