It's disgusting and whatever sick individual thought of the idea is a terrible human being. Maybe they didn't know it would become so popular and maybe this has all lost control, but it's a twisted thing to do in the first place. I don't mind if people are pro ana, but some of the things I've been finding on the internet about "Ana" and "Mia" and what they believe, it's making me want to kill someone. These girls have an illness, it's not something to be exploited.

The whole thing about Ana and Mia being real people or Gods or real individuals is sick and wrong. My best friend suffers from an eating disorder and is now in recovery. When you're that unwell, you feel lost and when people make your disease seem like a lifestyle and try to make a religion out of it, you'll buy into it. My friend said that looking back on all the stuff she used to believe and do, she literally felt brainwashed by the "letters from ana and mia", it's disgusting.
