  • Another hack job on a furnace install. Hooked up a flex connector into the furnace which is against code. It should be hard piped to the gas valve.

  • Good info but seeing how only half of furnaces are gas fired and the rest are oil fired, should have went into checking oil level in the tank, knowing where the reset button is, press it ONCE ONLY, also looking through the viewport to identify a positive flame, and if it fails to light and cuts out on safety call for service.
