Broadcast Live is an event held annually -at Earls Court in London - to showcase the latest equipment for corporate video and television production. I visited the show especially to try the Steadicam Flyer. It was my first attempt at using a stabilization system with an articulated arm and vest. I was very impressed with the build quality and smooth shots of the Flyer. I also liked the JVC GY-HD111, a camera with a professional look and compact size.

  • was the JVC footage graded? or is that how it looks normally?

  • The JVC footage has not been graded of adjusted in anyway. Whether the JVC's factory settings had been changed, I don't know?

  • do they let u walk off with it around the event?

  • Yes, they will let you to try any of the Steadicams on their display stand, and you're chaperoned whilst you walk around. I was allowed about twenty minutes to get a feel for the complexity of handling a Steadicam. It takes a great many hours to master these systems, or months even, to become a truly professional operator.

  • me encanta las camaras

  • @berrysmart123 These setadicams are usually at least a grand or so. I've been using the Cam Caddie Scorpion for all my DIY videos with much success. I highly recommend one for anyone in search of an efficient independent setup.

  • lol should of atleast set the whitebalance :/

  • hwo much is it

  • 1:39 looks simply beautiful.

  • im gettin that :I

  • @AlanAmor82 I'd presume it'd be that someone has changed the settings. As you may know with any camera you have white balance. If that camera has been set for a white balance of a fluorescent lighted area then it will get that golden look to it which in my opinion doesn't look that bad.

  • just bad ass!!!!!!!!

  • Really enjoyed the show. Nice of them to let you keep the footage, Lol!
