Sen. Barack Obama at Campus Progress

Senator Obama was at the Campus Progress conference yesterday, sponsored by the Center for American Progress. He spoke a great deal about energy independence, even bringing up a student from Campus Progress wearing a green "Kick the Oil Habit!" t-shirt who will be going around the country promoting energy independence from foreign oil. The student, Mark, will only be stopping at gas stations that offer E-85/ethanol based gasoline. Clever way to promote clean energy. [July 12, 2006]
