@married2ed They sang a short version on stage and then recorded a "studio" version for sale. You could buy both so they differentiated them by saying one was live and one was studio.

This may be a stupid question but why is there a studio version if it wasn't on his album? Was this from an American Idol album?

I would say it's because he's not singing from experience, it's a message to "maidens" about not trusting the "hearts of men", so instead of singing from personal experience, he is warning young women of how heart-breaking loving a man can be. Idk, I tried to explain it, lol. :)
