Mr. Dingel should keep the technology within Philippines. This technology will provide more jobs for the filipinos than selling the idea to other countries. It should be the filipinos who should benefit from this technology. We don't need outside influence to grow these ideas!

Five months after this video was posted on YouTube, Daniel Dingel was sentenced to a maximum 20 years in prison for fraud. The Philippines government has now officially labelled his invention as a hoax.

I think because the electrons that are ac are only moving a very small amount; the electrons on the edge of the aluminum are able to move to the water but not able to move back to the aluminum. Thats just an idea, I don't really know.

@honda4004 Well I do know if you use aluminum for 1 electrode, you can input ac power and electrolyze water without dc. Why this happens, I don't know.
