Filmed at the Austin Opry House and out on location, this Willie Nelson Special features great performances by Willie and his band who are joined by special guest Ray Charles for duets with Willie Nelson on six songs. Also featured is a trip to Willie's home town of Abbott, Texas and a chance to explore his roots with many of the people he grew up with. The programme is a great showcase for Willie Nelsons distinctive voice, sense of humour and charismatic stage presence.

  • i think the "black guy" was high as a kite. I hope like hell that nobody really ask who the black guy was. ROFL.

  • God Damn, great song by sung by two great people :)

  • Ray Charles WAS SUCH A FUCKING GOD!

  • @KaliMikki The Rare Old Mountain Dew has been around since the 1800's...maybe recorded in 1916...about good old Poteen

  • The performance is excellent, the video sucks big time. If I want to see advertising and product placement I'll watch "Desperate Housewives."

  • @xJNPSxJunior there's another famous song called "The Rare Old Mountain Dew" written in 1916, also about moonshine. The Pepsi version of the soda wasn't invented until the 1940's, and was originally marketed as "zero proof moonshine" and was sometimes called hillbilly piss... (source William Jones on Amazon's Askville site).

  • Grandpa Jones has a great version of this on the banjo but god help us if you didn't know Ray Charles that you have a chance of knowing Grandpa Jones....LOL

  • @xJNPSxJunior wow ur dumb

  • @stiffcat76 i know but its just ironic

  • @xJNPSxJunior they are talking bout moonshine not soda
