@kstrat Wow you are right .Rocktron started in 1983,first products in 1984,and the Intellifex was first made in 1992.Queen and Brian May used Rocktron equipment.Other bands credited Rocktron Users are Black Sabbath,Judas Priest, Megadeth,Gary Hoey,Lamb Of God ,Disturbed,Alice In Chains,Iron Maiden.They made preamps in 1984 and amp modeling before the Intellifex and many of their processors have preamps the most noteable the Prophesy. Rocktron has some great equipment.!!!

Just thought you'd liked to know tthat he Rocktron Intellifex was introduced in the early 1990's. IIRC the company didn't exist before the early to mid 80's so it's not possible that Brian May used one in the late 70's. Also to the best of my knowledge none have preamps. Similar effects were included in the Chameleon, Voodu Valve and Prophesy rack guitar guitar preamps.
