  • hey dude, did you remove catalytic converter? what did you did with the O2 sensors? Did you get the check engine light? I want to do the same on mine but Im affraid I can damage the engine or something, share your experience with this one, regards!

  • @capulina111 The cats are removed. it's my friend's Mustang, but I think the check engine light came on but he was able to turn it off with his programmer. Removing the cats won't damage the engine...it helps it breath easier.

  • bryan cant drive automatic

  • @TheMustanglou I'm assuming you're his friend with the manual GT lol

  • what type of Roush Axle Back is that?

  • @CurryGuy305 It's basically the same as Borla Stingers

  • @ksteak27 I am under the impression that the O2 sensors tell the computer to give more or less fuel (by way of electrical impulses to the injectors) at any given time, depending on how much O2 is sensed by the pre-cat and post-cat O2 sensors. Wouldn't taking the cats out make the rear O2 sensor read rich and thus cut fuel to the injectors, and thereby causing a lean condition in the engine? Just asking, as I don't really know and I would like to take the cats out.

  • @capulina111 You can buy straight pipes online... pretty cheap. They have holes for the O2 sensors... won't hurt your engine a bit... and shouldn't cause a check engine light (doesn't for me)... actually let's your engine breathe much easier (as 4wheeler14 said) and you'll get a nice HP increase... you can feel the difference... and it sounds awesome! Won't pass emissions inspection though... so either "know somebody" or swap out your cat-pipe prior to inspection.

  • I have an automatic, too. Manuals are more fun but damn they get old in traffic. I've had my fair share of shifting while I want to take a sip from by dr pepper and people can't stop calling me in traffic. Oh yeah, and party rock anthem has come on for the second hundreth time today and you want to TURN THAT SHIFT OFF!!!

  • black cars with black rims looks retarded. no

  • Bryan why aren't you shifting...oohh wait?
